Julie A. sanchez, encaustic Artist

Elias Shawn Studio

Encaustic painting is a madness that is fueled  by the alchemy of wax, tree sap, pigment and fire.  I never work with an orientation in mind; orientation does not exist until the piece is nearly complete. In this surrender to the process, each piece remains abstract and raw.
